Invest in the future!

We have been investing in the future of late. Among others, we purchased three new grinders which have increased our capacity enormously (8000mm long and 1800mm in diameter). We also bought a new extruder with which we will be able to provide even better service to our customers. These acquisitions, and the construction of the New Research & Development unit in 2008, have put us well on the road to a successful future!

Investments

- Three new grinders have increased capacity, improved accuracy and provided more flexibility in roller weight and dimensions.
- A new Bersdorff strip extruder was tailor-made and installed on-site for Ruma. This machine too enables us to provide our customers with even better quality.
- A new Barwell plunger extruder was purchased especially for the Extra High Voltage accessories in the cable industry.
- The management board was strengthened with the arrival of Sjoerd Resink, who joined the R&D department on 1 October.
